See Chiroso, buy Chiroso
A bit tongue in cheek, for sure, but when we saw that Unblended had this offering, we couldn't wait a second longer to scoop this up!
It was only upon roasting and trying to dial this coffee in that we realized it's true strength: Balance.
When trying to highlight the acidity, or boost the sweetness, the brew just didn't feel like it was reaching it's truest potential - however once we fully leaned in, it became evident that in order for this coffee to shine, all elements of it had to be featured in an equal light.
When brewed on a flat-bottomed dripper, we taste Plum and Maple Syrup, with a pleasant Raspberry acidity. Interestingly enough, when brewed in a conical dripper, due to the lower extraction and uneven nature of distribution specific to conical brewers, we notice that the Maple Syrup note shifts to a white confectioner's sugar, and the Raspberry acidity is replaced by a lovely tangerine note.
This is the perfect daily drinker for the coffee enthusiast.
We feel this coffee shines on a Flat-Bottomed Dripper primarily, and we've had delicious cups brewing on Conical Drippers and Aeropress as well.
